This hat was created in the millinery class I took in my last year of university in the Spring of 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown. It is by far one of my favorite hats I've built thus far.

I opted to make this class part of my honors work. By doing this, I followed the graduate level syllabus course load to receive honors credit. One of the graduate requirements was to create two personal hats; this is my second personal hat I made for this class.

As this was created at the height of the pandemic and with fabric stores around me being closed, all fabrics shown are made from curtains -- a real Maria Von Trapp move.
